letter from Mom
My mother broke her silence and spoke her peace on Facebook. She also facebook messaged her post to Donna and our eXp realtor.
I have kept my mouth shut through this whole mess, but this is my family and I can no longer stay quiet. Before I start, I would like to say. I don't understand how some people can live with themselves and function everyday knowing that they emotionally and financially crushed someone who trusted them, then blatantly lie about it as evidence is mounting daily. Whether they believe in God or karma I believe they will see justice. I hope what they knowingly did is on their mind constantly.
Donna, Redfin Realty, eXp Realty and Inspectology (local inspection comp.) were all involved and all guilty. They weren’t in cahoots, but my family did have the bad luck of getting four greedy, money hungry, dishonest people all at one time. They all came across as honest trustworthy people (sounds like experience to me). Donna slapped plaster and paint on foundation and interior cracks, had a bucket and bowl in the ceiling under leaks and stayed silent to what else she knew from the 16 years in the house. I believe her Redfin realtor knew some of this as well. In their listing for the house, Redfin did not picture the first side of the house you see when arriving, that faces Northern pkwy (most seen view). They only took pictures of the other three sides of the house. Why did they not picture that side? Because you can see that it is out of line. That is the side sinking the worst. My family's realtor is an eXp Realty agent. This was his first sale and recommended the inspection company Inspectrology, whom he previously worked for to do the home inspection. Inspectology missed/didn’t report/misreported so much I think if the house fell in on him he still would have passed it. To understand the true dynamics of this situation and the failure of Inspectology and mischievous doings of everyone involved you would have to read the blog my son wrote about their experience. There are so many things wrong that it would take me a week to list them here. They have an Instagram called OurBadApple with photos, videos and links to their story. A family friend started a GoFundMe called Help Save The Goat House and even organized a fundraiser at a local bar to help raise the starting low bid of $55k to fix the foundation and stop the sinking. In total it is estimated to be about $150k for the foundation and releveling the interior of the house. So Thanks Donna, eXp Realty, Redfin Realty and Inspectology for destroying dreams and lives.

Hi! Donna's son here.
Seeing as I was pretty involved (hell, I was at their Thanksgiving after they'd bought the house, Tofurkey is fucking dystopian btw) I'd love to give some extra info! Y'see Maurice he sent her a some ugly messages bout the roof (they're on your instagram funny enough). I also like how you hid half the messages. Sick move! The roof was in fact replaced a few years before she sold the house! And yep there was a bowl in there.. from before we replaced the roof. Why didn't we take em out? Lazy to be honest. But we did in fact replace the roof. In the aforementioned texts she said it was about 2015, and that sounds pretty right.
If the roof replacement was shit, or because of the foundation shifting and that caused the leak we honestly didn't know. The leak happened 2 years after she even sold the house. How were we to know bout it?
As for the foundation? We had no idea. The cracks we honestly figured was because of layers of wallpaper that had been painted over from years, and it just being an old house. We never had home inspectors tell us the foundation was literally sinking. We never hid any cracks, you could see them and they were pretty plain, and yall said yall weren't able to see the house? We had yall over all the time before she remotely sold it. We never hid anything, I was too lazy, and she was too crazy, and you were too encapsulated by the idea of ghosts being there for some reason. Frankly we didn't know any of the fucked up stuff about that house. Pipes being fucked? That house is from 1910 or 1919, I forget. Point being it's well over 100 years old. We had to replace tons of pipes in the house.
By the way! Saw the joke you made about her burying her foster children in the floors to keep em leveled! Very classy, and much appreciated. Screenshotted that for posterity, so thanks. Also, like the joke about using the Bad Apple as an added dig at her.
Honestly Maurice I sympathize that this has happened. It's terrible and yall don't deserve that, no one does. I do honestly think you should go after the home inspectors, because if they didn't tell you that was a house you shouldn't buy, they screwed yall. However, as far as we knew it was just an ancient ass house. I'm also sorry for the loss of Dennis, he was a lovely man.
Conversely, fuck you for all the bullshit you've been making up.
To him I replied
Montana Bevis I have been nothing but honest and truthful through this entire thing. I hid no text messages, they are all there. If you believe that you have something, please screenshot it and send it to me. I will post it. As I said on that instagram post I had broken my phone twice before I got my new one and had to take a picture of my phone with my new phone to get those text messages. So again if I miss something, please share it. My question was, is the roof warranted? That's where we went from. So according to you a six year old roof started leaking, where there was a bucket and bowl just happened to be. We noticed the leaking coming through the downstairs bathroom shortly after we moved in, but did not know where the leak was coming from until the following year when christopher realized that it had been leaking in his bathroom. In fact, there was a hole in the downstairs bathroom ceiling from the leak the thanksgiving you were here because the young boy that was here meantioned that we had a hole in our ceiling.
Quite honestly, it is absolutely impossible that you would not have known that there was no foundation issues walking around this house as unbalanced as the floors, walls and doorways are. The house is sinking almost three inches. That did not happen in the first few months of us moving into this house or there would be significantly more damage to the walls. Since you don't like to wear shoes and with you're big 13 barefoot would feel everything ,as I do walking around barefooted. Your bedroom is the most unbalanced of the bedrooms where your bed was is the high point and it sinks towards the closet. But you didn't notice that and I did within a week of moving into this house. The bathroom on the 2nd floor is sinking so bad the door doesn't stay open and there is plaster on the cracks that I did not put there.
Never did I say I was not allowed in this house beforehand In fact I mention hanging out here beforehand in my blog. I can recall sitting in the kitchen and the stool I was sitting on kept turning towards the island. Now I know that's because the weight of the island is pulling the entire kitchen. If she would have gotten a permit for that day, they would have told her she needed to get support under it.
I said she told me that she had foster children and one did not like the creaky floor and that's why she said said put the carpet down and that none of the neighbors I have talked to ever saw foster children here. Not once did I imply that she put children in the floor. As far as the pipes again, don't see how you wouldn't have known considering the water for the refrigerator is hooked to that bathroom.
When she said, there is a cast iron pipe, forgot to mention that there is rust in those pipes coming through the water that Dennis was brushing his teeth and gargling with also giving his cats. Oh but all the years here y'all didn't know that either.
It is good to hear from you, now we know where you stand. We thought perhaps you did not want to talk to us after thanksgiving because of the shame of what your mother did. Now we know you believe nothing was done wrong or at least you tell yourself that.
If you're going to come for me, come correct.

Maurice Lease You came after my mom aggressively from the start implying she had lied to you. Don't even.
We left you all the paperwork as far as we could even remember for all the warrantees. If you say a 6-7 year old roof leaked, then yes a 6-7 year old roof leaked. I watched them scrape the layers of old shingles off myself, and watched them nail them myself. She also paid to get the soffit around the chimney replaced as well. You expected us to remember the exact name of a company from almost a decade ago, and if it was more than a 5 year warrantee, 2 years after we'd moved out?
I had lived in that house since I was 15. I'm not going to notice shit. You were in that house many times before ANY paperwork was signed. You had ample opportunity to see how fucked the house was, you had your own inspector come over that should have told you if the house was fucked. We had no idea, that wallpaper was like that before we even moved in, we just thought it was old.
Permits for an island??? What????
Cast iron waterlines? No they're cast iron drain lines. We drank from those lines for a decade. Why would we make that up???? We replaced cast iron drain lines that had been corroded and split. You bought a house that was over 100 years old, and thought it wouldn't come with issues? We had tons of issues we had to replace, I.E. the cast iron piping and knob and tube wiring throughout the house. We replaced extension coords running throughout the house instead of actual lines.
Again, you had your own inspector, we never hid anything. If anything we were too honest and annoyingly so.
If you come at someone implying they're a liar off the rip, what do you expect? Do you think I am going to appreciate you calling my mom a liar about a fucking roof we did indeed replace? No, I am not. No rational person is going to stand for that, and you pissed me off then as you pissed me off now. I have no shame, I just don't like you. Even she liked you right up until you called her a liar. Remember your ass is the one who blocked her and said, "Blessed be."
Post this to your blog: We didn't hide shit.
Maurice Lease also fuck you again
Montana Bevis THE CARPET! π€£The carpet was put there to level the floor. π€£ππ€£ππ€£π what a nefarious thoughtπ€£ Thank you for our now running joke of children in our floor.☠️π»π Our encapsulated ghost obsession prophecy has been fulfilled π€£ππ€£π
I missed the first part of your reply and only saw the screenshot "and fuck you again" though I don't remember the first time; maybe that's why you don't like me.
One of the things inspectology did do right was tell us that we would need a new roof within a few years. However, we did not realize that that was going to be within two years. Though the leak had obviously been happening and dripping to the downstairs bathroom that was discovered in 2021. Funny you should mention the chimney because that is the second place we noticed the leaking and from three sides of it. Never did I ask who did the roof but interesting you can't remember. By the summer of 2022 I had already begun to try and find legal help. So by the time I asked her about the roof we were already disgusted. My final reply to her "welcome to home ownership" was "please don't contact me again. Blessed Be"(be blessed and goodbye). It was clear what kind of person I was dealing with therefore; blocked.
I appreciate your acknowledging the walls showing signs of sinkage before and while you were there and "how fucked the house was" for further proof Inspectology did not do their job properly. When we came over we sat in the kitchen and as I said in my last reply I now know why the stools move is because the weight of the island. All contractors and inspectors that we have had in there since have told me, there should be additional supports under that island. But under that addition of the house, there is only a jack on a concrete block next to a sink hole, not reported by Inspectology either. When speaking to the Baltimore City Department of Housing they said no permit was pulled for the island. Had there been a permit they would have been sure there is proper support under that section of the house.
The cast iron pipe, what I know is that the upstairs sink water smells like rust and sediment settles in the bottom of still water. I will make a video on day of it.
I frankly don't care if you are pissed nor did I ask. But trust we a beyond pissed.

Maurice Lease If you're asking about a warrantee you're going to be asking who did the roof. That's logic, and why would it even be interesting we can't remember who did it 7 years later?? At this point you might as well admit we did get the roof done and didn't lie about it. Just like we didn't intentionally do anything to you.
The island is literally old cabinets, and some thin tile π
If you're gonna be rude to someone and imply they intentionally fucked you over/hid shit from you, you're gonna lose any pleasantries, and get told welcome to home ownership. You said yall were curious about why I no longer was interested in associating with you, so I divulged.
We hid nothing from you, if anything we're guilty of ignorance. Keep your blog going, keep creating lies, keep roaring, "Thanks Donna" bout the pipes. I've said my peace and made an attempt to defend my Mom from bullshit slander. You came after us, you created an entire campaign named for my mom, and you blame us as if we intentionally hid things. Meanwhile, even you admit this primarily lies on your inspector.
I earnestly hope the house is able to get fixed and it works out for you, and you're able to get joy from it as we did, but I'm done with you.
I had to reply as a separate comment to my post. Because montana blocks me after his last comment.
Montana has blocked me. So my final reply to him is posted here.
She told us that the roof had a warranty. So I asked her about the warranty, if it was still good? She said probably not since you took it over. At no point did I ask what the company name was.
I think it's pretty ridiculous that you or anyone think that I would makeup a smearer campaign after buying a sinking house as if that is what I wanted to do for the next three years.
At no point did I say she did not have the roof done or imply she lied about it. I did say, she said she had the roof done. If you can prove otherwise please try again with another screenshot your last one has promised to bring many years of joy.
I would say ignorance is an understatement considering after sixteen years you couldn't see what I saw in sixteen days. It should also be clear I have said all involved is to blame, even me for trusting everyone.
